SIGARCH supports two programs — the Companion Assistance Program and the Childcare Travel Support Program — to help SIGARCH members who need to attend ISCA (and other SIGARCH sponsored events) but need assistance. See more details at SIGARCH's Grants & Support Programs page .
Applicants are requested to follow the instructions on the SIGARCH webpage and send requests to Natalie Enright Jerger.
The cap is $1,000 per application for childcare. SIGARCH will approve applications on a case-by-case basis up to the SIGARCH budget constraints. If the demand is more than what SIGARCH had budgeted for, SIGARCH will consider providing a subset of the funds requested or potentially using a more needs-based prioritization among the applicants.
Late submissions up to one week before the conference will also be considered but will only be awarded subject to budget constraints.
